GreatLakesBass.com and The Bass Federation of Michigan will both be there somewhere both days barring blizzards and volcano eruptions (just look for me in a corner somewhere and there I'll be).

I'm bettin' Jimmy Houston will be talkin' 'bout chuckin' spinnersbaits too.

I'll be there Saturday... all day!

Hey Jason... how's it feel to be following up after Ol' Jimmy?

I'd like to take that guy turkey hunting sometime... I bet I can get him laughing hard enough to draw turkeys from the next county!

bass fisherman didnt I see you down at D n R this morning. you were hiding in the seminar room waiting for the batchelor to teach you howto throw that fairy wand with those pink wacky worms. when I come from the boat department after looking at those champions could of swore you were in the front row

Good seminar OUTLAW.  some of us weren't sure how you'd do with the public speaking but ya did well, even kept it G-rated (for the most part).

Outlaw,

I caught most of your seminar on Friday evening.  You did a great job!  I was really impressed with the content and your presentation.  I learned a few things as well.

I do have one question for you.  Why do you prefer straight shank hooks over EWG?

Thanks,

Cy

There are 2 main reasons, the larger the gap in the hook the more likely it is to bend, There are only 2 hooks on the market that I have yet to ben 1 is the Gamakatsu Super line straight shank, and the Reaction Innovations BMF Hook in the 5/0 I have bent the 3 and 4/0. The outher reason is that the stright shank hooks go through the cover much better.
