The clear skies yesterday have produced some of the best photos I have seen in a long time. Going to be interesting when all that ice has to come down the st-clair river.

:o That is cool....
Various government officials are stating if we get a lot of spring rain we may have to worry about some flooding issues. Guess we'll find out.
That view is so cool looking. This winter should have a huge impact on our lakes. Even tho this winter has been hard to deal with, in the long run it will only help. As long as we have open water come C&R season I'm happy!
One of my buddy's and I used to bet on whether we would be able to launch our boats by St. Party's Day. I'm will to say "All bets are off" in 2014. We will be lucky if we get them in this year by tax day.
BD. ;D
Hopefuly the secret ponds ice will be gone and we can hit that. Your right, ice out this year is going to come late. I still think the first week in April. For the lower part of the state and the third week for the upper part of the lower. The end of April for the U.P. We get 10 days of warm weather it will knock the ice of f some of the small lakes fast.
Great pictures.
melt, melt, melt!!!!
first week in april? ;D
we have like 12,18, 20 inches of ice on a lot of lakes around GR and still hitting night time lows in the single digits... everyone better start praying for this to be out by end of april.
I just got off a lake that had about 2 foot of ice. This will not be gone any time soon. I am guessing easter.
