Getting close to take-off

It' an hour before takeoff for the first day of the 2014 Bassmaster Classic. Rock music blasts from the stage at Lake Guntersville to entertain the throngs of fans that line the bank. Dave Kilgore is the first to come around from the ramp and pull up to the dock. He is ready.
He is predicting a shallow bite. Thelures on his deck say he isn't lying. I see two shallow crankbaits, a lipless rattler and two chattering jigs.
