has anybody used or tried art fergusons line of products? looking at purchasing and in need of assorted weights for tube hooks. he's got prices discounted down. i received an e-mail for his new website and did some window shopping for now.
It's all I throw...
Art is a good friend of mine and I tested out some of his products before he began selling them...
He put alot of time into the product and it is actually a great design for a jighead...
I'm sure you're wondering... How hard can it be to make a jighead? Well, it isn't hard but he paid extra attention to make a jighead that will run true and present baits naturally...
- He pours the heads so that there is more weight on the bottom so that the jig swims vertically.
- The eye of the jighead is farther up the the lead so as to not leave gap between the eye and the top of the head.
- He uses Owner hooks which stick like glue...
Some of these things i'd have to show you personally, but take my word for it, they're great jigheads...
The dropshot weights are great too...
thanks, made purchased today on the tube jigs. got 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4oz. will give them a try. did notice the hook shank sits higher on the head weight.
