Bob you can find the boats

I called the guy and left a message
I have been saving up for a "New" boat. And have about 12k
But at that price. I could keep the current boat as well and flip one of them at a latter date

Heard back from him
He's at work and will call in Morning

Escanaba is about 40 miles from the property in the UP
So I know tha drive well

I called the guy
He has the boat stored at a buddy's house in escanaba
He lives a hour north of there

And the story goes
He lived in Macomb co. and fished LSC
Claims the motor starts first turn, Has less then 100 hours. etc

Problem is
It was 6 deg. last week and ther's no way to test the motor
Boat does look clean and I think he would take less
So it's risk and rewards if you what to buy a boat without hearing it run
I myself worry the guys a BS'er and the motor might be a dud

If you lived in southern Michigan why in the world would you store a boat in Escanaba?  Even if it's free storage the cost of lugging it up there and back would far outweigh storing it more local.  That's the question I'd ask him first.

Just smells funny to me.

Mike,

He now lives up there
He Used to live down here and fish LSC

For me
I'm looking for a bass boat
I just don't have the time or storage for a boat that might have motor problems
I'd like to drive or at least hear the motor run before laying out cash
