Its your choice, Triton boat or Cash.

Not sure what kind of triton boat or how much cash, they havent said that it just says your choice.

Winning that classic would be sweet, but I hope you're good on whatever body of water they choose because only prizes are given after that. I have heard that they're giving a few Elite Series entries for the 2008 season for finishing 2nd, but that also gives you a big bill to travel. I would rather have cash given out for a classic of this size. Like I said, if you don't win it, you're out a lot of money.

I'll be fishing Division 4, but really doubt I'll be at the classic.

Duke,
Yes the classic last year was pretty much winner take all but it was thier first year and they only had 5 tournaments and a classic and they gave away a boat. You only have to fish two tournaments to qualify. There arent any other tournament trails that you can fish two tournaments then fish for a boat
in the classic. This is a great format for those of us that fish alot and can sqeeze it into our schedules. Im sure after learning alot last year they will be bigger and better this year. Im also fishing division 4 and probably 1 and 2 also. Ill see you there.

I might be fishing 1 and 2 as well, and agree that the cash would be better than a boat, unless you are fishing yourself.  Granted a partner without a boat would really like one, but then how are you going to split something like that?  Would he pay you, or would you be kind enough to say, hey you need it and I don't, so have it.  I think splitting cash would be easier.  Maybe I'll see you there Lgmouth.

I'll look for you there LGMOUTH.

I'm sure it was a learning experience for them last year and I anticipate it to be better as well. I also agree, not a bad set up to win a boat. My only point was, if I qualify for the classic and its on a body of water 6 hours away that I've got limited experience on, I'm probably not going to participate. Because I may fish well and finish in the top 5 and still not get paid back my entry fee let alone the traveling cost. If I feel I can compete to win the event, then its a good gamble.

I'll be in a black/red sparkle Triton with a black F150. Hope to see you!
