Glad you guys got into a few nice ones. The weather sure wan't the best for catching a lot of fish, that's for sure!
Nice job guys !!!
I just saw this. It was a fun day. The wind was a pain, but the few fish we caught had some size to them. My 4.54 is a new personal best smallmouth, and Mike's 5.88 was a new best for him. Imust admit, I'm still jealous . Here's another poc of my 4.54.
Nice job on the new PB's.
congrats on the PB fellas!!
I was on "Lake X" yesterday with robhj. It was almost unfishable due to the high winds. There were 3+ footers!!! We still managed a few fish, but nothing picture worthy. But hey, it beat working!!
3 footers? Really? That would have sucked bad. It was windy for us, but nothing even close to that.
Lake X? Really, you're going to be that tight lipped about where you were? Congrats on the great fish and new PB's.
That was a referral to a facebook post I made a while back. It's an inside thing. We were on one of the many lakes of northern MI.

I explained it to him in a private message Mike. Gotta keep it a secret ya know!
I think what needs to happen is I come over to the westside and take you and Mike fishing in my boat so I can learn about these fantastic northern mich lakes.
You just need to go up ,and start fishing. You will find that most of the lakes have good fish.Just go!
I'd go again

Which Mike's are you talking about? There's 3 of us! LOL!!! Hope your boat is HUGE!! LOL!!!
At times some of our northern lakes rival St. Clair in the fun factor.
Don't get too carried away WF. They do NOT lol
Well, you sure didn't catch your biggest smallie on St Clair now did you? Niether did I! Now what, buddy? LOL!
Hey now MikeS don't count out Muskegon Lake my personal best came out of there 6.08
Well I've had 50+ fish days up north and never had to deal with a tuna boat wake or a 3' swell!!! Or had my trailer run over in a nearly empty boat ramp parking lot.
Oh, I will never count out Muskegon Lake. I know there are big ones there, just haven't seen any. As much as I fish that lake, it's kind of surprising. I wish the wind would die down so I could go out there today.
