Maybe it will do for bass fishing what "Days of Thunder" did for NASCAR

We can only hope.  Based on what I read in the article it sounds like it will be more like "Talladega Night".

There's a ton of funny stuff they can write about.  How many funny situations have you put yourself in while on the water (or while getting prepared to get on the water)?  If there's one sports-based movie I would like to see it most like though, I'd have to vote Slapshot.  That's one funny movie right there..."Icing up en da puck come down da ice, bang, before da udder guys, nobody dare, my arm commed up, the game stop, then start up..."  Classic...

i really like all the Bill Dance bloopers..I think this will be really good, they have been talking about it for a while now, glad to see it getting closer.

most all the pro anglers have great sense of humors...just look at the guys doing the berkley commercials, last year they were suppose to be naked, now this year they are the faces of largemouth bass...the Iaconelli ones are the best.

It could help a lot if it doesn't end up making us look the like bubba goofs some people think we are.

Just read the book Double Whammy by Carl Hiaasen sometime. You'll see what I mean about walking the line between entertainment, humor, publicity and embarrassment.
