Have never fished Crooked, but have fished Pine once.  Very neat lake.  What does it take to win there weight wise?

Several years ago while pre-fishing Crooked for a club tournament I caught two 5 lb largemouth on consecutive casts.  There was an NBAA tournament going on at the same time and I tried to kind of stay out of their way.  Big bass of that event was a 4 1/2 lb smallmouth.  So, there are big fish in that lake for sure.

Honestly...any lake you can fish this time of year is very relaxing and rewarding. The views cant be beat.

This summer there was a 19.5 stringer, and two 18# on a 3 hour tourney. All on different days.

Fall fishing on Crooked can be some of the best in the state. I would guess 15# is a good number and for Pine too.
