Title: Lakeville lake 10/5
Post by: bassfan586 on October 05, 2013, 07:11:53 PM
Got out about 9:30. Water was clear and warm 68-70.  Started off with lipless bait burning the weed edges with no luck.  Tried spinnerbaits as well without luck.  Switched up to skipping jig and pigs under docks.  That was the ticket.  Caught 28 largies. All but two came on a jig and pig.  One long skinny pike as well.  Any dock with at least 4' of water under it had fish.  All fish averaged 14"-16".  Only one short fish and one 18".  Left the water at 3:30.  Best day out there in awhile.  Fishing is only going to get better as the water temps start to fall.
