Check out the results from our COTM Classic on Portage yesterday on our facebook page under "West Michigan Bass - Case of the Monday's"
10 boats and the smallest bag was about 15 lbs. Justin and Cy came in with nearly 26 lbs of smallies! 2nd was 23+ lbs, 3rd was 21+ lbs, and we had 18 lbs for 4th. Average fish weighed in was 3.8 lbs!!
Wow is that lake fishing hot right now!!! You guys should have fun when you're up there!
Amazing weights. WTG
That is some stellar fishing right there! You guys must have had a blast, I would have loved to see the grins on Justin's and Cy's face at the weigh in. I hope the fishing stays hot too it is an awesome lake and should be a good time.
For anyone who is not aware Payback Bass is having an open on Portage Oct 6th. If you want to get in go to http://paybackbass.com/ to get the entry form and any details about the tournament. $250 team entry fee with 95% payback, that's $1500 for first with 10 boats and $475 BB. See you at the ramp
It was an amazing day. Not to be understated there was also a 23 lb bag weighed in by andy burleson and randy lockard. Of 9 boats 14-11 was last place. Big green fish and big brown ones too. There are some fish to be caught for sure in oct.
i saw on facebook that they were on caught on kustomkicker products!!
It was definitely a great day of fishing! If I am going to finish at the bottom of the field. I am going to do it with just under 17lbs and a 5+ kicker.
I told my partner that it was possible for multiple 20lb bags of smallies to be weighed in. I was just hoping it didn't happen. ;D... It did. ::)
The other 2 20+ bags ruined them by sticking a green fish or 2 in there ;)
I say we just make Portage our standing classic lake. But we have to rotate thru the "spot." No one team can stay on it for more than 20 minutes.
that's my spot. stay off my ****
I've already gave all of Manistee County and half of Benzie County the waypoints where your spot on the spot is.
Kidding
I live in Ingham County. Is that close enough??
It would have been if the Irish beat UM.
