I finished up last nights tourneys season on Tuesday with my biggest bag ever for the lake... 10.68 lbs All Smallmouth.. The best 3 1/2 hours of fishing so far. (excluding time with my daughter)
Sorry I just had to throw that out there I'm just Happy, Happy, Happy.. ;D
Soooo did you win...
congrats on the good catch. I have fished Belleville Lake at least half a dozen times over the past two years for tournaments and just cannot figure that lake out. What you caught on that lake in 3 1/2 hours probably equals my total catch on that lake during my last four tournaments (8 hour tournaments) there. Im serious too. I cannot fish that lake and am beyond frustrated with my performance there. >:( But again, congrats on the good catch of smallies!

The fish see the big skeeter coming and line up for what you're throwing now. Respect.
No i took 3rd but thats ok I was very happy with that. A friend of mine took my out and showed me what I have been over looking for the last several years...
I remember when 3 fish would win that tournament with a weight of 10.68lbs. You can ask the Tournament Director of the All Star Anglers Trail out of Erie Metro. He and I used to fish that together on Tuesday nights . Rarely were there limits on Belleville during those days. That's when Tim Katona and Roger Bentley ran it. Katona owned South Street Tackle.

The fishing has definitely picked up in the past few years on Belleville Lake. I haven't fished it yet this year, maybe I'll head out there this weekend. Belleville is a good fall lake anyway.
