SLBC (sanford lake bass club) holds two Open tournaments every year. They are always the same weekends on the same lakes.
June 17th, 2007 Wixom Lake Open
July 21st, 2007 Sanford Lake Open
These usually draw between 35 and 50+ boats, and guarantee $1500 for first place. good plaques, paydown based on number of boats. It has taken between 15# and 22# on Wixom for 6 fish
and 14# and 20# on Sanford in recent years. Great tournaments.
This year our Wixom lake tournament was moved to Sunday to work with the top bass circuit who will be having a tournament on sanford on saturday June 16th. should help both tournaments for turnout. Two good tournaments in the same weekend.
Make sure and add the events to the calendar here too when you get a chance.
