Biffle at work
A mile to the west we find Tommy Biffle. He sets the hook, a bass jumps 20 feet from the boat and comes off. Biffle shakes his head and goes back to fishing.

"That was a 3-pounder," Biffle says.

He is fishing a Biffle Bug and a Hardhead with a flippin' stick and 16-pound line. I guess he didn't get the memo that this is a drop shot tournament.

The current is very strong through this stretch. Right now Biffle is drifting with the flow and dragging his Headhead over the bottom. He swings and misses.
