I was wrong earlier about the specifics of the Michigan enhanced drivers license - it is actually one of four states that does include a citizenship verification as part of the information it contains. I still recommend carrying the certified copy of a birth certificate as a backup. We don't go out fishing with just one crankbait in the good color.

Of course, for the Bassmaster event, you have to follow whatever requirements they state regardless. It would be confusing with anglers coming from all over the country with only 4 states (Michigan, New York, Vermont and Washington state) and Ontario (maybe a few other provinces) having enhanced drivers licenses that include citizenship info.
