What a beautiful day to fish! They were calling for rain throughout the day. As the day went on, they kept pushing the rain to later in the evening. From 4-10 PM we had slightly overcast with some sun. Water temps were 76 in cuts on the Tittabawassee side and 73 on the main lake. The water was a little choppy with 10 mph winds out of the North.
I was able to find fish on weed edges on the main lake and also at the mouths of some cuts. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits seemed to work best. As the day went on, the bite got better. If I was going out there today, I would focus on the mouths of cuts on the East side and work my way North. The main lake points with weeds produced at least one fish per.
Sounds like Wixom is doing good.
