I know you ice fishermen love this, but a guy with a brand new rig sitting in his garage is agonizing, counting the days to get out on he water (approx 35 more).
Last year I had my daughters graduation to contend with, so I was not really into the season. I fished very little compared to in the past. Right now it is all I can think about.
Usually we have the NBAA Championship in late April to look forward to, but that has been moved into June so I plan to look for some Ohio events to try.
So what is the schedule for most of you this year. NBAA is on mine for sure (2-3 divisions), a couple Active Anglers down on Erie, Wonderland Open and possibly the Champion Diamond tournaments (Old Hickory and Table Rock). I also hold tournament for my church in May and I plan to be more involved in the GBL events. I can't let Jeff and Brian have all the fun. It will be a busy season. How about the rest of ya?

I agree with the Thaw...I'm ready.
I am planning on staying relatively close to home for the summer. I have a new child coming early April. I am planning on fishing the BBT and Shoreline circuits this year with Orlando Jon. There is a local Radio Station tournament that is always fun. If any of you guys are interested it is The Fox 101.3 Kickin' Bass Tournament. It is a biggest bass of the hour and best 7 fish weight. I think it is $500 per hour for the biggest fish. When more info come out I will post it. I might fish the BFL on the Grand River.

I am definatly with you on the thaw. I am in the same situation new boat and it is killing me as well. I will be fishing quite a few NBAA events and a few other trails but just a lake here and there. Also look into Indiana for some early tournaments. I usually fish one or two down there in the spring before our season opens up. Should be a fun year.

What did you get George? The 210 or the 200? Details man, details...
210 Elite w/ 250 Merc Pro XS
It is sweet. The new gig is fun too. We were in Ohio the last two weekends working with two different dealers and we are in Wisconsin at the end of the month. Our receptions have been great. Were looking forward to the rest of the year.
I have a couple pics. Maybe I will get this posting to work.

One more.
Nice rig.
For any of you die hards that want to check out Indiana, Im fishing the NBAA Wawasee challenge which starts March 31 and the second one is April 8th. Cant remember the rest of them but I think there is one more before season opens here. Also fishing 2-3 different NBAA divisions, also Bass Anglers United, Fishers of Men, Lake Drive Marine, BFL on the Grand. Going to be a busy summer. I am also getting a new boat this spring, Genie and I are heading down to Texas to pick it up next week and we are takeing a detour over to the Classic for a couple of days. Should be fun.
Awesome boat George! That 250XS should push it around nice! It's hard to see in the pics, but what is the color combo?
