Another monster muskie was caught up on GT Bay yesterday. Local guide and long time tournament angler Tony DeFlippo had a client out on the Bay and he thought he snagged the bottom. He handed the rod to Tony, who was going to try the old sling shot snap of the line to pop it off the snag, and as he was about to try the technique he felt movement and immediately handed the rod back. The local DNR said it was the second largest muskie to be weighed in Michigan at 52 lbs. !!

By the way they are still on the beds on East Bay, but Elk Rapids might be a better choice for bigger fish.
That would be fun to catch!
