Fished Lake Lancer Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Saturday
Most people had a hard time finding fish. When they did find them, they were spotty. I was able to find a boat load full of small keepers in 8ft of water with patchy weeds rising up 4ft. Caught them on black and blue jigs, black wacky 5 inch worms, 10 inch ribbon tail worms in purple, and a purple tube with a 60 degree jig head. As the evening went on, they seemed to become less aggressive.
Sunday
Most everyone had a tough day finding fish. One person was able to land a 10 lb limit fishing 13ft of water. C-rig and lipless cranks did the job for him. I found a bunch of fish sitting in 10ft in thicker weeds.
In all, even though the days were roughly the same weather wise, fish were more aggressive Saturday evening rather than Sunday morning.
Interesting? Quite the combination of presentations there too. How did you come up with that variety?

after each bait cooled down, I would switch up the color/bait. Eventually I would do a complete circle with my rods. Just to keep showing something new.
it sounds like perfect drop shot water ::)
lol I have been playing with that rig since Don helped me set it up. I think to gain confidence in it, I am going to have to head to Wixom Lake with that one rod and no more...
