Title: Michigan Bass Fishing The Good Ole Days Now on Wild Michigan Radio
Post by: djkimmel on June 22, 2013, 02:20:42 AM
Make sure you listen in this weekend to Wild Michigan Radio and Duran Martinez  (http://www.wildmichiganradio.com/)- he actually lets me talk about how these are the good ole days of bass fishing here in Michigan! Also talk about some tactics - wacky rig, drop shot and swimbaits along with spawning and sight-fishing going on now. And how can we leave out mention of the #1 BASS LAKE IN THE US - Lake St. Clair!!

You know I like to talk about Michigan and Great Lakes bass fishing!! If you can't catch one of the many stations (http://wildmichiganradio.com/affiliates.html) over the weekend you can follow up by listening to podcasts shortly after.

Duran also talks with Laura Scharich of Michigan Crossbow Federation on safety and crossbow myth, Mike Gnatkowski helps define "when is a fly not a fly?" And Captain Michael Tilmann of Tilmann Outfitters educates us on steelhead and big water salmon.

Duran's pretty excited this week! He landed a MONSTER U.P. smallmouth and though the little spring scale said 5-something I'm thinking the beast (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=500573283348455&set=a.142486045823849.34801.137608922978228&type=1&theater) was more like 6 pounds!
