Title: 6-1 decent day
Post by: Huntingtonbasser on June 02, 2013, 10:47:09 AM
Cousin and I drove up from Indiana Friday. Spent four hours locating fish Friday, had 20 smallmouths on dropshots in 9-11 FOW. Saturday was a little different, couldn't buy a bite deeper than 10 foot. We caught fish in 6-10 fow on spinnerbaits and wacky rigged senkos. In total we had 75 smallmouth and tons of rockbass and silvers. Only had 2 over 5. All fish came from 9 mile-400 club. Water was clear down to 10 FOW but muddy in spots shallower than 3 feet.

Most were on green pumpkin with black flake, but had a few on smoke with hologram also. Boat traffic was pretty low...10-15 boats up and down the mile roads and no pleasure boats to be seen.
