Location: east of Three River on the ST. Joe River
Water Temp: in the mid 60
Air temp: high 40 in the morning to mid 50 by noon
Weather: cloudy with brief times of sun showing
Water: muddy with very light wave action if any
Weather leading up to tournament: cold front past in the early morning hour
with rain storms over the last few day leading up to tournament
The bite was slow and very light when they hit
Worms work the best but I think any slow bait would of worked
We had 21 boats fishing, 40 members
58 legal bass caught for a weight of 84.58 pounds
Reports from member was that everyone caught plenty of fish but a limited amount of 14+ inches
where caught. Personally my team caught over 25 bass during the 6 hours but only 7 where over 14. We fished 6 am till noon and had to wear coat most of the day due to wind chill even tho there was only a light wind blowing most of the time.
Sounds like you were on the plus side of the catch curve!
