<p>While one or more anglers could assert themselves into the Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year race here at the Alabama River, it&rsquo;s certain that a few will take themselves out of the hunt with a poor performance. It&rsquo;s been a strange season with some tough fishing and big turnarounds, but the AOY race remains a battle of attrition.</p>
