Title: 4-27 opener
Post by: Golden Ghost on April 28, 2013, 08:54:47 AM
We fished from about 12:30 until 6:30 and boated about two dozen between two guys. Started at 11 mile and caught a few. Saw one boat doing well, red bass boat, but most boats were slow like us. We caught a half dozen in 7' of water.
We moved down to 10 mile road and did better. Caught about a dozen within a few hundred yards of one location, all in about 7' also.
Moved to some boulders around 9 mile and caught a few more. By that time things were slowing down a bit and we called it a day.
Most were caught in 7' of water with a green tube. A few on crank, rattle traps and drop shots. None on a wacky set up. Visibility was 18"-2' and considering that we were happy boating the amount we did. Most fish were good size, 2-3lbs. Water was high 40's
