I know there has been alot of talk on baitcasters on here. I bought the lew's bb1 7.1:1 & 5.1:1 recently. These things are great. I have a shimano citica which is ok, but these things cast a mile. I took them down to the Flat rock darn(huron river)to set them up and their great. Also caught a silver bass, sheephead and a steelhead on a lipless crankbait. Seguar invisx 12lb.
I just picked up my first Lew's last weekend. I got the Super Duty Speed spool. 7.1. Seems very nice will have to wait till next Saturday to try out.
I really love my Phleuger Patriarch so will have to see how the super duty compares.
love mine. i picked up 4 new Tournaments and a BB1 for this season.
That sale basstackle depot was having was great. Loaded up on stuff myself. Just wish I knew it was so short. I went to add things and it was over with. If you ask my wife I have to much anyway.
i'm glad to see there back (got three myself) from what i've been seeing on the interweb they are really making a BIG comeback, nothing but good reviews
I went with the BB1 because I use left hand retrieve and I wanted the lowest gear, which was 5.1:1. Then I just added on a 7.1:1 BB1 so I would be familiar with the same reel. Love em.. ;D
