Post by: stackenem on April 01, 2013, 03:22:46 PM
;D ;D ;D  So what new toys have you added to your boat this year? So far I have a new trolling motor an 898 si hd unit and I am waiting for my talon to show up. Not to mention all the new rods and other little things.

I picked up a used LCX 27 for the front
It matches the LCX 27 and 520 that I have in the back

And I just picked up 2 Core MG50's to replace the mg50's that I have
Love those little reels for the finesse fishing.
these are 7:1 over the 6:1 and there lighter yet.

Couple new rods and reels. Fixed my glove box that was damaged on some rough runs in the fall. Looking into adding a Mercury MercMonitor and fixing a livewell value and seems to be draining water. I added a G-Force trolling motor handle and cord over the winter. Replaced my expired flares.

Got a new 998. New rods and reels.  An e-ladder in case I fall in.  Now all I need is time on the water.     Oh yea 11 days in Italy   Hope to be home and organized for the DK open.

You guys are going to love those Core reels if you haven't tried them yet.  I have one and I want to switch all my other reels over eventually.
Not a lot of big purchases for me but I did pick up a hydro wave on the Black Friday sale - I still really do not have any idea how I am going to use it but I am curious to give it a try.

The only other new toy I need still is a new prop - necessary but not that exciting.
