Title: Ice conditions northwest michigan?

Anyone know how much Ice is on the shoreline lakes? Manistee or Portage? Want to plan a trip to use my new electronics.

If ya go farther north by me. There is an easy 2 foot on most lakes, but they are getting sloppy on top so bring rubber boots

Ross according to my friend Rick, on his lake there is a foot of ice yet and even though there is some water showing on Loon, guys were still ice fishing it yesterday. I would say your a week away from putting your boat in on Big Bass yet. Iffy ice from now on out.
