Day 2 was better coverage. Great clinic for jerk baiting. Looks like all the other shows are into reruns. The show with Zona catching alligator gar was unreal.
Interesting observation on the classic tv. When Ike changed boats to check the kill switch he started the big motor and pulled the switch without a life vest on.
Sure hope spring gets here soon my DVR's is getting empty..
Technically I think he can start the big motor without a lifevest as long as he is not running without one. That is pretty nitpicky given the challenges he had and the lack of support he was given throughout the morning. My guess is those guys were starting the big motor in the morning to let them warm up and I bet not many lifevests were on...
Technically, I think the rule for B.A.S.S. is to have the life jacket on and kill switch attached anytime the big motor is turned on and in gear.
I have been in tournaments where the tournament director has been real strict about this in some events to even include the motor just turned on so check those rules for any tournament you fish carefully and often.
And I don't have a problem with that. It is a pretty important safety issue.
I looked it up and Terry is correct.
In BASS you have to have the jacket on and kill switch in place when the boat is running and in gear. So no problem starting the boat with out it.
FLW you have to have it on when ever the motor is running.
On a local level NBAA is when ever the motor is running.
I'm right???? Finally! Somebody notify my wife!!! ;D
