Anybody have any experience with these? I am thinking about picking one up, so any input is appreciated.

Already answered on bfhp - they are awesome and would be worth twice their cost (if they last).  I have one full year of use as my main spinning reel (dropshotting) and it was still performing like new.  Handles flouro very well as all Daiwa ABS spools do.   The reel smoothness is appearent from the store display, but the drag is equally smooth and trustworthy for fishing light lines.

I'll be getting 3-4 more this spring.

I bought 2 of 'em last year and love 'em. My other spinning reels are Pflueger Presidents but for some reason I can't explain, I like the Excelor's more. I plan to buy 2 more this spring. I guess they just feel right....
