Listened to this recently on Bass Zone Live with guest Jon Bondy - professional guide and bass angler from Windsor Ontario. Jon reads along some of our posts on here.
Thought you might like to listen to Jon and the Bass Zone guys talk about the Elite Series, Jon's performance, plans for 2007 and the challenges of getting sponsorship as a professional bass angler:

Interesting interview...Listening to Jon talk about Hockey got me to thinking...Why not try and get a wrap deal with the NHL? Kinda like what Payne Stewart had with the NFL back in the day? It would be kinda hard to dress up in local NHL garb considering all the other sponsor obligations, but maybe something could be worked out where he wore a hat or something?
Speaking of Bondy and wrap deals...From BassFan:
Bondy's Moose deal 1/15/2007
Canadian pro Jon Bondy, in preparation for a sophomore season in the Bassmaster Elite Series, announced he signed a title-sponsorship deal with ice cream company Denali Flavors, Inc. Bondy will run a Moose Tracks wrap this season, which is the company's signature brand.
This is the first time Michigan-based Denali has dabbled in fishing sponsorship. Denali founder Wally Blume said: "Denali Flavors/Moose Tracks is proud to support Jon in this 11-event series, and we look forward to increased brand awareness through this partnership. Just as this group of 100 anglers is recognized as the best in the world, Moose Tracks ice cream is recognized as a leader in the ice cream industry."
Bondy noted: "I'm grateful to Denali Moose Tracks for coming together with my longtime sponsors to support my quest for even higher success at this level. I'm confident that this year's results will be even better than last for the Bondy team."
