14+ inches of NON-Lake effect (at least most of it wasn't) snow last night here in GR! Looks like we could get up to 5 more inches before the end of the day tomorrow... again NOT lake effect. Add to it that I like to use my snowblower (it kinda sounds like my boat... a little...) and I'm all for this kind of snowfall!
I got quite a bit here too. Wish I had another sled. I don't care much for using my snowblower. It's just another form of work, and I just got home from work.
We only had a little bit in my area over night but our rivers have been really high all week long. All that flooding is frozen in many farmers fields. Hopefully the saginaw bay level is coming up since most rivers drain into it
weee hoo, i'm all for the non lake effect stuff, but the timing just sucks. we usally go skiing after church on sunday, and would'nt you know it. it's forcast to be 36ish+ next sunday (it really sucks skiing in slush)......mother nature sure is a strange one
