Title: bar lake or chief lake?
Post by: 32eml24 on January 24, 2013, 05:29:08 PM
Does anybody know anything about the fishing in bar lake north of manistee or chief lake northeast of manistee? My girlfriends family is deciding between the two places for a cottage a week in the summer.

Chief is a small lake with houses/cottages surrounding most of it. You can pull a few decent lm bass but lots of hammer handle pike to bite u off.

I was doing pretty good with this cabin fever thing until you guys on the board started talking about it.  Now I've got it.  So I guess this is a disease that can be acquired via the internet and by touching the key board one gets infected?

A few years ago Bender, Langer and I drove to Indiana for a one day Bass fishing pre-season fish.  Maybe we need to do that again.
