-Todd
welcome. oakland co here, but i fish there too
Welcome.
Hey Todd, Welcome to the big show... ;D Don here from Belleville
Cool to have you here.
Now tell us something interesting. Boat? Lakes you frequent? Ever date a supermodel?
Hey, it's been slow around here... ;D
Haha, i mostly fish around the livingston county area; chemung, the portage chain, lobdell, ponemah, whitmore and so on.
I would like to try to get out and fish some more outside of my area. We just got a older Ranger Comanche(i believe thats how you spell it), last season in very good shape with all the nice updates, so we just stuck around here to see how everything worked lol.
I plan on getting out and doing some ice fishing soon but all this warm weather coming up looks like it might put a hold on things. Anybody else do any ice fishing?
Welcome to GLB.
Most of the guys from this side of the state are familiar with the lakes in Livingston, and fish them, but many of the regulars on this site are from the dark side...sorry I meant West side of the state, and fish those other lakes (well resevoirs). ;D JK
Anyway, welcome to the board. There are occasionally opportunities to meet, and sometimes even fish with other members.
Hey now. Let's not put us in categories. I'm one of thos other guys. Muskegon Lake is like my back yard. Don't mind it. I wish St Clair was my Muskegon, but we can't have it all. I m clueless of the lakes you named, but we all kkow about what swims there.
Welcome Todd!!! What about the Super Model?
Welcome to the forum.
I'm from Dexter. The Half Moon and Portage launches are just 5 minutes up the road from my house.
Around here I fish them, Whitmore, Woodland, Kent, North Lake, Lobdell, Tipsicoe, and Bellevile.
Frankly, I head for St. Clair and the Detroit River it seems more these days. They are only an hour away and the fishing can be phenomenal.
Welcome Todd. I'm one of the few on here from Genesee Co, so were close. I fish Lobdell a lot. And, I do some ice fishing. We have another site you might be interested in, its Greatlakesicefishing.com. I might also suggest to you a short trip to Novi this coming weekend for The Ultimate Fishing Show, This site will have a booth there, among many others. It's a great way to meet people from here. We also do a members only fun tournament in the spring and fall. I'm kind of curious about the super model question too. Have you? LOL
Mike
Welcome, don't forget to sign up for the DK spring open. Great way to meet lots of members.
Welcome to GLB! :D
Welcome new guy. I used to live up in Whitmore Lake so fished a lot of the Brighton state recreation area lakes. You should definitely stop by the GLB booth this weekend at the ultimate fishing show.
I really wish i could say yes to the supermodel haha, but sadly its a no maybe one day though we can all have our dreams right?
As for the Ultimate Fishing Show i will be up there, i have been going for the past couple years now and love it, so i'm sure i will be seeing some of you up there.

Mike, truth is I am a bit jealous...I love Muskegon, Hardy and the Grand. Actually I love the West side of the state in general, but my family and career are over here in Metro Detroit. BTW I am only 40 minutes from St. Clair and even closer to Erie.
Welcome new guy. 8)
BD. ;D

I would love to be closer to LSC. But in order to do that, I would need to find a really good job and sell my house. I wouldn't be happy diving 40 minutes to fish. I'm spoiled. It is 5 minutes from my garage to Fisherman's Landing. I would have to be that close to the lake if I were to move.
I had dinner with Laporte and Mojo last night. They told me I need to come this way to fish more. I would be in heaven if Muskegon and White miraculously turned into LSC. But, they both fish really well, and I will jut remain grateful for what I have pretty much in my back yard.
Welcome to the site. I am from the west side, Montcalm County. There is a TON of information on this site and a lot of great people here.
