Title: Drove to Al and Bob's today.
Post by: Mike S. on December 20, 2012, 09:28:43 PM
I had to get my dad a gift certificate, so I braved the treacherous conditions of this wicked storm. When I got there I found the shelves were empty of everything I wanted to buy. No Xtreme tubes in my favorite color. Only 1 pack of "the bait".  So I did the next best thing. I spent almost $100 on new baits to try. I did this solely on the basis of being there, and it caught my eye. Has anyone tried the Bed Bug yet?  I got 2 packs. It looks cool.

At least they had gift certificates in stock. Don't laugh Mike. I'm sure you probably cleaned up on "the bait" there. I have 10 packs coming fom [some tackle shop that can't be named] to go with the 5 packs on the peg board and the 3 packs in the boat.

(sorry ;D)

Al and Bobs is normally sold out this time of year.  They start restocking for fishing season starting next month but most things don't come in until March.

I have some of those bed bugs but I haven't ever fished them.

They are way to busy selling guns right now to worry about stocking fishing tackle.  Happens every fall/winter.

They look great in the water. I could never dial them in, and I tried them several times. :-\'

Yeah, I'll stick to "the bait" myself.   ;D
