Title: Tis the season to be jolly, mmm Krispy Kreme
Post by: Dan on December 12, 2012, 09:05:08 AM
I'm just saying, I may have to take advantage of 12-12-12 with a buy one get one free box of Krispy Kreme. In my humble and donut eating opinion, you have to go when the lights on though to get them while they are literally still hot. They are then the best donut out there.  Here's the coupon link.

I can't force one of them down my throat  in any way. I use to think they were good till I started working at a donut shop years ago. Found out  handmade potato flour are wayy better. But that is just my opinion

Krispy Kreme donuts are ok, but if you are anywhere near Fowlerville stop at Curtis's Grocery and get a couple donuts their bakery makes. IMHO the best donuts you are gonna find. Really.

I don't think there is even a Krispy Kreme any where near Traverse City. Hot Krispy Kreme's picked right off the line are not the same as those you get in a box at a gas station that were made hours or days earlier. You don't have to force them down your throat because they just melt in your mouth. Nothing to swallow, and zero calories.

Make sure you stop by today Dan!  I'll even toss one in the microwave for 8 seconds for you!  Hot cup of coffee to go with it.   ;D

I stopped last night, but you have bankers hours. I was there about 6:00 pm. I don't get out that way often, but my wife had to do a discussion group at Advantage Research down past Walmart toward Cascade. I did one on Tuesday, Issues facing Michigan. Two hours of a round table discussion from a focus group leader and they give you $75 cash. My wife did a discussion group and taste testing for Bagger Daves. She got food and $75 for her two hours. They call me periodically. Good money and it's right up my alley, getting paid to talk that is.

23 years in law enforcement, I'll just about eat any donut made. LOL My person favorite though is Tim Hortons Apple Fritters. I agree about the freshness though. No donut in the world is better than when it first comes out of the oven. Take it from an expert.

Yep Dan that's the place. To find Fowlerville just head east on 96 from GR until you hear my BassCat growlin cause she don't like the cold weather. Exit there [#129] and head downtown.

We have QD (Quality Dairy for you 'foreigners...) in Lansing for fresh donuts.

The words 'donuts' and 'zero calories' are never going to work in the same discussion... Sorry.

I have never tried Curtis Grocery. I even drove by there last Sunday. Well... my wife was driving...

BTW, dartag (and everyone else), you're going to have to work the whole week. My QD milk doesn't expire until 12/23/2012 and they never get that stuff wrong...

#$@$ more bad news... looks like we all have to work another 7,000 years (http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2012/12/121207-maya-truly-did-not-predict-doomsday-apocalypse/)!! Again, according to the Mayans!! Who are these 'Mayans?!?' They have to be stopped!! Does anyone have a support email address or maybe a toll free number for them?

From what I can tell, the worst that will happen between 12/21 and 12/22 (besides my milk being 1 day closer to expiration) is a few of you may need your passwords reset. Blame the Mayans and contact me (http://glbass.com/contact) if it is you.
