anyone interested? Manistique lake, long weekend, pitch in on a cabin, end of summer after the black flies take off.
Never been there but it is an interesting looking lake. I don't like black flies but I do like fishing new places. Keep us posted on plans.
What date range are you looking at? I'm trying to plan something towards the end of summer up that direction.
Give me a date range bob and I can probably make it.
now we are doing better, i was thinking end of august early september. does antone have a big camper? or should we look for a cabin?
Yukon was talk in about a lake just north of the bridge. Walk to only. Canoe. But the dnr stocked it heavy and today it holds some incredible smallmouth. It was thinking about fishing up north too next year so let's keep in touch.
That sounds like the old paper company lake that got turned over to the MDNR just a few seasons ago. Might be a different lake.
I got a travel trailer that sleeps 4 to 6. I can go as a back boater if I pull that. Got to upgrade to a 5th wheel so I can bring the boat too. Or a cabin is good and I'll bring the boat. I've never fished in the UP so I'd be up for somewhere new and exciting.
