Oh come on... he'll keep the sea gulls away!
shoot!! that's a topwater bite waitning to happen ;D
I HATE SNAKES, I have had the water snakes attempt to board my boat in the spring to sun themselves.
when I was on Patoka lake this spring there were water snakes everywhere. We saw a lot more snakes than bass.
Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?
To paraphrase one of my favorite actors in his absolute worst movie:
"get these mother [lovin] snakes off this mother [lovin] boat!"
I'm not at big snake fan either.
BD. ;D
I remember fishing around north bass island and seeing the lake erie water snakes swimming around. Yep i hate snakes, all of them. Good thing union lake does not have snakes or I would be out of here.
Woah! I hope the boater didn't find the snake like Bill Dance did at 1:55 of this video! (Classic clips...couldn't find one of just Bill and the snake)

Lots of snakes in the Banana dike too. Big ugly ones.
How about gators, we have them as well as snakes in Florida.
As well as 80° and sun shine, but haven't had the boat off the trailer yet, still working on the house.

Really, I fish there quite often and have never seen them.
There's some sort of water snake that lives there, and only in that region. I forget what they are called though. Several times I've had to deter them away from climbing onto the back of the boat. They can be quite stubborn.
guess I better pay more attention out there
Water snakes are known for behaving aggressively. They are the only kind I have been bitten by more than once. And the only kind I have caught on a fishing lure too.
