what's going on with the white fish at Muskegon?
Do you need a long handled net to reach them off the Pier?

Definitely bring a long handled net, the water is a long way down there right now.

They are in pretty thick right now!

You can always just flip them up too.  A net is nice but not a requirement.

If you want to keep any legally hooked fish you will need a net.  It's about 8 feet to the water and you will never get a mouth hooked fish up to the deck without a net, their mouths are just too soft.  Now... a foul hooked fish on the other hand... hoist away and kick em back.

Was out there last Tuesday and got a limit with my buddy Brandon.  Lots of fish being caught.

We left with 15 the other night ... all legal ... no net.  With a net, obviously it would have been more - but hoisting them up is part of the fun too.
