The Tahoe could use a set of tires, but for as much as I drive it (basically I only tow the boat with it) I just put used or take off tires on it.  Can't justify the huge expense of new tires for as much as I drive it.

265/16 is what I would like but would entertain other 16" tires (don't want really wide ones though).

While i don't have a used set, there is a place in holland called garcias nest used tires. I personally am recommending it... i had a flat not long ago and my spare looked nasty too. Went down there... nice guy running a small honest operation. Same size tire you mentioned mounted and balanced for 35/tire. And hinestly the used tire i bought from them looks better and has more tread than my existing 3.

Called them.  Don't have any in stock at the moment.  Thanks for the heads up though.
