Title: Lake Murray South Carolina
Post by: fishon1219 on December 05, 2006, 01:56:26 PM
I have a FOM national championship event on this lake in May and was wondering if anybody in our GLB community has ever fished it or can give me some insight?

I was here once 5 years ago and got my butt handed to me. I'm not much help. However, I will say it fishes like a typical reservoir except the weeds were a bit more dominant than other reservoirs I've been to. Not quite like Guntersville, but you can find some good weed. I would assume lots and lots of crankbaits, jigs, and shaky heads. There was also an FLW tourney there this past spring, might have been that time of year. Check out their website, I remember there was decent write-up about it.

Good luck in your research!
