Title: Christmas List
Post by: McCarter on December 04, 2006, 09:43:21 AM
Its almost that time again.  The only good thing to ever come from WINTER.  My wife took me to the mall this weekend, and after a 15 minute wait, i was once again face to face with the man himself, Santa.  Opting not to sit on his lap, for obvious reasons, i sat beside him and read off my list.

1) Shimano Chronarch Mg 50

2) World Peace

3) Bass Pro Shops Gift Cards

4) Mike Iaconelli DVD

5) Beef Jerky, Teryiaki Flavor if available

6) Luhr-Jensen Speed traps

7) One jelly doughnut

8) Some shirts and undies

9) That new book by Ken Shultz, i couldnt remember the name of, but Santa knows.......he always knows.

10) Fix my boat

11) A GLB 2007 calander and a new GLB T shirt since i quickly grew out of the last one.

12) New poker chips for the first annual GLB Poker Challenge

13) Beer and wings, preferably Hooters

14) More Bass Pro Shops gift cards

15) and a Turkey sandwich with colby, miracle whip, mild peppers, a dash of salt and pepper, and lettuce.

Whats on everyone elses list???

PB himself :-\'

I always look forward to Christmas list time.

1. Chronarch MG 50.  Now that I've fished with PoorBoy's, I just gotta have one.  Thanks a pantload Chet.

2. Short Loomis or Arris rod for jerkbaiting.

3. New supply of Pointer 100's.  Lost 'em all on Kent Lake dang it!!

4. New Plano boxes.  St. Clair killed 3 of them this year.

5. Magical ability to catch fish in October when it's allegedly "easy".  Cha..as if.

6. Gore-Tex socks for soggy tournament days.

7. Martin D-28 Acoustic Guitar. (gotta have a gift on the list I'll never actually get)

8. Apple Macbook Pro.  (ok, so that's 2 gifts I'll never really get...grr)

9. The ability to lose weight on the "all buffalo wing, potatoes, regular pop, and candy diet".

10.  Bass Pro gift cards and Starbuck's gift cards.  I'm pretty much addicted to both.

11. That all my GLB buddies would come to church on Christmas Eve.  Your all invited 7:30pm.

BTW - GLB Poker Challenge? ... I'm all in.

In no particular order - numbered for ease of reading....this is an all or none thing!

1.  A plethora of shimano reels.
2.  A 20'+ bass boat.
3.  30,000 Bass Pro Shops bonus points to magically appear on my card.
4.  A lake to magically appear in my back yard.
5.  A plethora of rods to go with my reels.
6.  An all expenses paid trip to Branson, MO BPS with a $5,000 shopping spree.
7.  Global warming to hit Michigan permanently with no negative effects.
8.  Joshimoto to be my own personal bait pouring slave.
9.  A new truck to pull my new boat.
10. The opposite of world peace and exclusive rights to the spoils of war. (I want this in writing.)

Too much selfishness here! You have to narrow your list; santa can't carry all of that on his sleigh. My list is only 3 items:

1. Biosonix unit
2. New Lowrance color sonar/gps
3. 21' Triton w/ 250 Mercury

Now that's not too much!  ;D
