A buddy and I launched out of SANG on Saturday and headed out to 9 -10 feet of water.  We were fishing by 7:15.  Had 3 nice smallies boated before 8am. Things really slowed down after that.  We moved around a bit, visited near Grassy for a bit and only managed to boat 2 more.  Headed back to the ramp at about 1pm.  Water was very calm.
All fish came on xCalibur Ghost traps.  Total for the day 5 smallies, 1 rockie, 1 sheep, and 2 perch.  While not great action, better than I have had the last couple of weeks on LSC.
Will likely be fishing the same area this Sunday.

Thanks for the post . Were you burning that trap or ripping it off the bottom? Gonna hit it next week hoping it will pick up a little but coming either way.

Actually, 2 of the nicer fish came when the trap hit the water, as I was starting to crank it in.  Ithought about working some top water, but did not.
The others came on what i would call a medium-fast burn.
