registration opened @ 10am this morning sounds like spots are going fast. I made it in and got registered now wait 4-6 weeks to find out if i will actually get to ride. anybody else get in?
We must have been posting here on GLB at the same time. I have a confirmation for Falcon Lake, Zapata TX ( I am going to get my concealed carry and have myself armed for the bandits should they try and board our boat ;)) and I have a confirmation for St. Clair. I tried to click the button at the stroke of 10 and it appears everything went off without a hitch.
Falcon will be AMAZING congrats
Hey Blake, what was the time stamp on your Marshal entry? I helped sign a buddy up yesterday when the registration began for all BASS members. I wonder though if it's already full. They still took his money though.
I called in because the computers were down...
Time of transaction 09/25/2012 10:02:28
that was my time stamp, i started right at 10:00:00 (had my computer clock counting down) but it seemed to lag right at the beginning.
Yea, I had the same problem plus... My time stamp was 10:05 and I hit the button right at 10:00 am. We should make it in, you for sure, I hope I do. If not I'll have to be a boat groupie. Still might on Sunday. I'm also thinking of Marshaling the Montgomery, AL tournament on the Alabama River. It's only a couple of hours from my brother-in-law and might make a Spring trip out of it. I'm still waiting to hear if I'm in at the Bassmaster Classic as a Marshal. Signed up for that right after this past February event. At the time they said I should get at least one day.
I didnt get through until 1030. I may be out of luck.
Early bird gets the worm. It use to be pretty easy. A lot of guys poo pooed Marshaling. It will be my fifth year, and I really enjoy it. I can fish any day of the week being retired, but a front row seat to watch a top tier event in any sport is a hard one to get. To be able to get three days worth of front row seating for $125 is not a bad deal.
