Airrus Co Matrix 457 rod

AC701M 7 Ft MEDIUM ACTION FAST TIP for the traps.  It had perfect action for snapping them through grass and the tip is pretty forgiving on the strike.  $94.95.  Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

Airrus Ultra XL

UXLC701M 7 Ft MEDIUM ACTION MEDIUM FAST TIP for cranks.  This rod is unbelieveable for crankbaits.  It has the perfect action for medium to large crankbaits.  It has many properties of a glass rod but with all the benefits of graphite.  $159.95.   Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

And i will say this.  Out of everyone i know who has bought an Airrus Rod, i have not heard one complaint yet.  In fact, they have all went on to by additional rods from Airrus.  Check them out, you wont be dissapointed.

Check out the website for additonal info.

Ive got a couple mt10hs pinnicles theyre 6.3to1 with 7 ball bearings and pretty sweet Im not sure what the ext model has different than mine other than 5 ball bearings but I paid $99 each from gander, mine have a metalic mirror like finnish wiffle spool and clicking star drag.

I believe Silstar just redid that reel, so they may be making room for new stock at Wallyworld?

I am guilty of going on to buy additional Airrus rods.  I have 7 Airrus rods now.  Would be 9 if I didnt lose 1 to a jet skiing idiot the day after I bought it off PB.  I didnt even get a chance to make the first cast with it :(  The other one my 9 year old tossed over the side of the boat on accident.

At the risk of making PB cry, I will say this...  Airrus rods do not come in as much customization as I need/want.  I love the Airrus rods though and will buy them first for every slot they can fill.  The rest of the slots that dont have what I need/want I'll be going with St. Croix.

If you get a ABA membership for 25.00 you get a 20% discount on Airrus rods.  By now I'm sure everyone knows how I feel about the ABA but for 25.00 membership dues last season I saved over 250.00 in discounts on Airrus rods.   Not hard to do the math and justify that even if you dont fish a tournament with them.
