Drove through at lunch time. the water looked high and dirty. might go out and toss some frogs one day this week. curious what the water condition is.
I have heard from a reliable source that fished there last thurs & fri that the bass are biting. You have to be willing to fish the nasty looking slop. When I say nasty I mean you have to look for the big slop mats that look like nothing would live there. They fished with 50 lb braid with 1 oz sinkers pegged to a 4/0 hook using creature baits. They had to make the weight punch thru the slop to get to the fish but it was worth it. Numerous fish from 2 to 4 lbs were caught.
