Is there anyone fishing the metro area on st Clair for smallies , Just wondering if it is worth checking it out , Any help would be appreciated . Thanks  :)

i always get a largemouth or two in front of the beach right at the weed line if you can call it that

I've had some luck dragging tubes and beavers on the flat to the south of the mouth of the river at Metro Beach.  Caught a 6 pounder last year in 5' of water on the southern most edge of that flat.
