Title: Does anybody soak their soft plastics?
Post by: Mike S. on July 30, 2012, 08:33:34 AM
I ask this question because I bought 2 pounds of Senko style worms off of eBay last winter, and they are in some sort of oil that I am unsure of. Whatever of is, it works. Man, does it work. Really, my question is this, what do you soak your baits in?  I have never thought about doing this until now, and was just wanting some ideas.

Some baits will change colors and/or become opaque when they started as translucent when you soak them and depending upon what you soak them in. Some baits may also bloat up to a larger, fatter, spongier look and feel too so test 1 or 2 in various soaks first before you commit a bunch of your favorites to this in case the present look and feel is important to you.
