Title: Ponemah 7/4/12
Post by: stackenem on July 05, 2012, 11:19:49 AM
Hit the lake 5:15 am. I was going to fish around the island but found a couple skinny dippers so I thought I would go around to the other side. So I started throwing top water and got absolutely nothing. Such a nice morning too. Changed up to a wacky rig started throwing at logs, stumps, pads and docks still nothing. So I then just threw out into about 10 fow finally a fish 4.5 lb lm. Few more casts and hooked into several more fish in the 1.5 to 2.0 range. Moved over to another spot and caught 2 more LM 3.0 and another 3.5. All in all it was a pretty good 4th. Off the water by 930.

You're probably the smart one Stack for getting out of the zoo before it opens......if you know what I mean.

No doubt about that. They were starting to come in as I left. One hadn't even started his motor this year and was sitting in the water trying to start it. Never heard of a hose with the ears for doing it in his yard.

That and the guy that wants to fix his motor while the boat is still on the trailer, in the water, and there's a lightning storm coming.   And..... there's a line of people trying to get off safely before the storm hits.

Takes all kinds.
