Don't be afraid of the weather.? Get out and go fishing.? This is the absolute best time of the year to catch the fish of a lifetime.
Caught this beauty in 25 mph winds, sleet and 45 degree temps.? Almost 2 ft long and 5.25 Pounds from a small lake near Traverse City.
You have to love Michigan fishing!

I hope to be catchin some like that this weekend headed up to mullett on saturday and Houghton on sunday. This is def. one of the best times of the year to fish!!!
boy, i wish someone would tell the fish that it's time to fatten up. was on kent monday for 6hrs and only (1) fish caught. on cass today for 6hrs and (2) were caught, lost (2) and (1) nice toothy critter.
