I have been trying to better familiarize myself with Muskegon Lake for Largemouth Bass. I can catch them in the spring, but it seems like within the last week I have gone out 2-3 times and had a hard time catching anything around marinas or docks. I don't keep them but really enjoy bass fishing and am looking for help on how to catch bass on that lake through the summer, as after spring is done I have a difficult time finding any fish. Any advice is welcome and feel free to PM me!
Jay
Go deeper. Get yourself a good lake map. There are a lot of points and a lot of structure in Muskegon Lake. Find some of that stuff and you may find more fish. The marinas always have fish in them though.... but they can be tougher to catch after the water warms up and the marinas get busier.
Waterfoul would you like to get out on Muskegon Lake sometime? We can either use my boat or yours. I just want to fish it with someone who knows how to attack that lake. I am not looking to steal your spots I just need help with trying to fish deep water.
JayBass, JayBass, that name rings a bell.

I have no idea who spud is....the closest thing I can come up with referring to a spud is a potato ha ha....but honestly...i have no clue who you are talking about.
Jaybass, next time I get over that way I'll see if we can get you in the boat. My next tournament on Muskegon isn't till July 22 so I probably won't be out that way for several weeks.
No Muskegon lake for you! My lake! I mean, there are no fish there. It's just a big weedy hole full of gobies and carp.
Don't forget GIANT dogfish too! Some of my biggest have come out of there! One of my biggest walleye too!
